Bridge closure - latest

Members of the Parish Counil recently met with the highways engineer from East Yorkshire regarding the damage to the bridge caused by a heavy goods vehicle earlier this month.

There is no clear indication as yet to when the bridge will be repaired and reopened, but it seems unlikely from the information given that it will be open again before the end of February at the earliest (and maybe rather later).

Unfortunately, there is also no realistic likelihood of a temporary solution to allow private car access.
